Management Accountant

Job Description: 

  • Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting
  • Produce month end and year end journals
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and other financial reports
  • Present reports to senior management
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and planning process
  • Compile strategies to reduce business costs (procurement)
  • Advise on the financial implications of business decisions
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Produce financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Review accounting processes and practices and improve
  • Developing and overseeing financial procedures and identifying opportunities
  • Control income and expenditure within the business
  • Management of 3 junior employees.
  • Payroll

Qualifications: 

  • BCom degree in accounting, finance or related field
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in similar role within the agricultural industry will be beneficial
  • Experience with Quickbooks software
