Job Description: 

  • Reviewing of day to day tasks completed by bookkeeper
  • Income, depreciation, debtors& creditors, ensuring all transactions are allocated to tracking categories.
  • Review IAS & BAS reports for submission to Australian Taxation Office.
  • Importing budgets and revised forecast into Xero.
  • Preparing and reviewing of Annual Financial Statements and tax returns
  • Preparation of annual board meeting packs and minutes
  • Maintaining resolution register
  • Preparing and reviewing of Management Accounts.
  • Preparation of loan statements/schedules.
  • Tax computations
  • Actual and forecast comparisons
  • Analyze accounts and be able to explain differences.
  • Month end accounting journals
  • Weekly and monthly operational reporting


  • Accounting degree
  • At least 2 years related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Xero (advantageous)
  • MS Office
  • Excel level: Intermediate
