Cost Controller

Job Description:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in cost and management accounting, including analysis and reporting.
- A BCom degree or equivalent is preferred, and progress towards a CIMA qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in ERP systems and BOM. Familiarity with business intelligence software would be beneficial.
- Experience in a FMCG or production environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of accuracy and a meticulous work ethic.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Qualifications:
- Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance – compare actual costs with estimates and analyse any variances.
- Prepare cost estimates/quotes for new products, customers and product changes.
- Update BOMs as necessary.
- Assist with stock counts.
- Load cost estimates/quotes into relevant systems.
- Assist with reconciliations/schedules.
- Maintain accurate records for old and new product costings.
- Manage inventory and product records.
- Provide audit information on a continuous basis.
