Job Description:
- Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating Creditors clerks or relevant creditors employee
- Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial and supplier records.
- Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial information to management.
- Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives.
- Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors and Senior Management
- Financial Compliance
- Understand and comply with IFRS for SME’s.
- Contribute to annual audit process for the group (pre-yearly audit meetings, coordination of Finance managers)
- Continuous Improvement and Communication
- Identifying opportunities by evaluating current business trends, best practise research and principles
- Working closely with all business units to enhance and promote positive feedback loops and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and accounting as subjects.
- Relevant tertiary education will be an advantage.
- 3 – 5 year experience in similar role.
- Interest in the logistics industry will be an advantage.
