Creditors Manager

Job Description: 

  • Hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating Creditors clerks or relevant creditors employee
  • Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial and supplier records.
  • Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial information to management.
  • Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives.
  • Developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with employees, clients, vendors and Senior Management
  • Financial Compliance
  • Understand and comply with IFRS for SME’s.
  • Contribute to annual audit process for the group (pre-yearly audit meetings, coordination of Finance managers)
  • Continuous Improvement and Communication
  • Identifying opportunities by evaluating current business trends, best practise research and principles
  • Working closely with all business units to enhance and promote positive feedback loops and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and accounting as subjects.
  • Relevant tertiary education will be an advantage.
  • 3 – 5 year experience in similar role.
  • Interest in the logistics industry will be an advantage.
