Description:
- Full function to Balance sheet (including Fixed Asset Register) for local and foreign subsidiaries.
- Monitoring and reporting monthly management accounts for subsidiaries.
- Assist with the compilation of the Group’s annual budget
- Assist the Financial Manager in other financial areas of the company
- Collecting and analysing data, which will be used to provide information to other departments, enabling them to make informed budgeting, investment and/or cost decisions
- Responding to financial inquiries by gathering data and interpreting data
- South African Reserve Bank applications and exchange control queries
- Assist with annual year-end audit and statutory accounts
- VAT returns and annual VAT reconciliations
- Assist with Provisional and Annual Income tax returns
- Assist with Income Tax and Company’s Act Compliance
- Foreign Creditors Reconciliation review
- Fleet Management
Qualifications:
- B Com degree or equivalent
- 10 years relevant experience to balance sheet
- Strong Financial and costing experience
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Super user on ERP system – Q Muzik or similar
- Highly Experienced in multi-currency transactions – Essential
- Analytical, problem solver, able to prioritise, multi- task and pay attention to detail
