Financial Controller

Job Description: 

  • Perform bookkeeping up to Trial Balance
  • Manage creditors and debtors
  • Compile Month End Packs
  • Handle trust accounts with precision
  • Utilize banking experience to streamline financial transactions
  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for various departments
  • Ensure timely and accurate VAT submissions
  • Conduct audit reconciliations and preparation
  • Experience in cash flow management and budgeting is advantageous
  • Property industry experience is desirable
  • Handle payroll responsibilities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Manage statutory submissions including EMP201, 501’S, WCA, and UIF
  • Oversee leave and HR admin tasks
  • Proficiency in Xero, PaySpace, and Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with formulas

Qualifications: 

  • Degree or diploma required
  • Minimum 5-8 years experience
  • Bookkeeping Accountant 5 years
  • Zero and payspace experience
