Financial Manager

Job Description:
- The incumbent will take responsibility for the full financial function for 19 entities.
- Management of accounting team of 5 employees consisting of Accountant, 2 creditors clerks, office clerk and the HR Practitioner.
- Board and Stakeholder reports
- Monthly Management Statements, and involvement and supervising of accounting team processing.
- Payroll system set-up, review and supervising of processing
- Preparation and submission of EMP201, EMP501, IRP5’s, ETI’s
- Preparation, submission and reconciliation of VAT
- SARS eFiling and SARS Easyfile
- Construction Guarantees
- Handling of insurance.
- Liaising with SARS, Bank, Auditors and Information Technology providers
- Audit file preparation
- BEE scorecard involvement
- Company Secretarial Duties
Qualifications:
- Minimum educational level – SAIPA or CIMA qualification or CIBA registered
- Experience – minimum 10 -15 years.
- Tax Practitioner registration or experience in the role of tax practitioner.
- Experience in accounting in the Construction and Property Development industry will be advantageous.
- Experience/knowledge of the BuildSmart computer package will be an added advantage.
