Financial Manager

Job Description: 

• Oversee the full accounting function of the business, from processing GL account transactions to Financial Statements Set-up.
• Ensure SARS Compliance on all Tax Types (VAT, PAYE, Income Tax).
• Processing the monthly payroll function.
• Monthly Supplier Processing.
• Cashflow Management.
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts and other Finance Reports.
• Assist the Finance Executive on financial projects and other ad-hoc duties.
• Company operational input and control.

Qualifications: 

• Qualification in Accounting or similar (3 years+ work experience)
• Excellent Administrative skill set
• Have a high attention to detail
• Able to work effectively, accurately and systematically under pressure
• Work within tight daily deadlines
• You need to be excellent with email management and writing
• Teamwork – work together with a focused, driven and friendly team
• Computer literate – excellent Outlook, Excel and Word skills.
• Experienced in PASTEL, SAGE or similar accounting programs
• Strong tax compliance understanding
• Able to communicate fluently in English
• Pleasant, positive and friendly attitude
• Work fast, focused and effective
• Have an interest in understanding and working closely with the operations and sales manager.
