Payroll Officer

Descriptions:

  • Collecting of weekly and monthly employee timesheets.
  • Update and ensure correct time and attendance is captured
  • Calculating employee work hours.
  • Calculating employee benefits and deductions.
  • Preparing payroll reports.
  • Responding to employee questions about compensation, taxes, benefits, and deductions.
  • Entering new employee data into the company database.
  • General admin duties associated with the position
  • Assistance with the preparation of annual audit
  • Adhere to all deadlines set by management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in accounting, human resources, or a similar field 
  • 4 – 5 years working experience as a payroll officer
  • MS Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills.  
  • Friendly yet assertive personality
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail with a flair for accuracy
