1.   New Acquisitions Opportunities

  • Evaluate and analyse all new opportunities including but not limited to financial feasibility.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate rental and capitalisation rates for specific areas.
  • Present all new opportunities at weekly deal committee meetings.
  • Conduct due diligence investigations timeously.
  • Prepare due diligence report, summarise all findings.
  • Compile the investment proposal report for submission and approval by the relevant investment committees.

2.   New Development Opportunities

  • Evaluate and analyse development opportunities presented.
  • Liaise with the development team to determine preliminary development cost estimates.
  • Prepare financial feasibility for all development opportunities, when required.
  • Present new development opportunities at weekly deal committee meetings.

3.   Sales

  • Prepare sales packs for the identified properties to be sent to agents, when required.
  • Liaise with the relevant agents in terms of marketing the identified properties.
  • Oversee the updating of weekly sales reports.
  • Compile all due diligence information required by a purchaser when required.


  • BCom in Accounting, Finance or similar business-related degree, or 
  • BSc (Property Studies) degree.
  • Able to apply most MS software products, (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills beneficial.
  • Able to grasp workings of in-house property and asset management system (MDA) fairly quickly.
  • Professional and good presentation skills.
  • Communicate well with existing and new external property stakeholders.
  • Accounting – understand and interpret income statements, balance sheets, accounts entries, basic tax, construct cash flows, etc.
  • Investment – understand and apply investment criteria, effect of income, expenses and capex on investments, understand and construct valuations.
