Senior Accountant

Job Description:  

• Prepare financial statements which include complex tax calculations.
• Process transactions in Xero, Pastel Partner and Pastel Online to trail balance.
• Reconcile bank accounts and investment statements.
• Prepare management statements and budgets.
• Prepare audit files for auditors.
• Reconcile VAT and complete and submit VAT201 via e-filing.
• Register entities for Income Tax, VAT
• Prepare monthly invoices and levies.

Qualifications: 

• Senior Accountant, SAIPA qualified
• At least 2 – 3 years of experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (English and Afrikaans).
• Proactive and deadline oriented.
• Responsible and accountable.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical/ problem-solving skills.
• Up to date with corporate tax regulations
