Description:

• Establishing or approving environmental loading criteria to relevant codes and design guides.
• Preparing structural schemes, analysis models, detailed calculations, sketches, reports and specifications.
• Delivering structural engineering designs in a multi-disciplinary project environment.
• Conducting(and/or guiding and approving) structural material specifications.
• Liaising with relevant professional service providers
• Attending project meetings, monitoring project progress on site and performing facility conditional assessments
• Contributing to the identification of SHEQ risks and driving processes to achieve a safe working environment
• Compiling tenders, RFQ’s and proposals

Qualifications:

• BEng- / BSc- / BTech Civil or Structural Engineering degree
• Pr Eng or PR Tech registered with ECSA or in the process of registering
• ± 3 – 5 years’ experience within a building and structural environment
• Solid experience in structural designs and drawings for industrial, commercial and residential buildings
• Solid experience in compiling tenders, RFQ’s and proposals
• CAD Software (AutoCAD, Solidworks) or Revit
• A great team player with exceptional interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent mathematical, IT and analytical skills
• Commercial awareness
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Solid project and budget management skills.
• Creativity
