Administration Officer (Governance)

Job Description: 

  • Attendance and minuting of Management/Council and other ad-hoc meetings in collaboration with other secretaries
  • Assumption of duties relevant to the secretary of meetings (such as preparing the agendas and meeting venues)
  • Administrative support to the office of the Principal (including QMS, Risk Management, and Internal Audit)
  • Assisting top management with other statutory reporting (such as monitoring, evaluation, and strategic planning and coordination
  • Assist the Principal with compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of management and council are implemented


  • A three-year relevant administrative qualification
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Package, ZOOM, and MS Teams)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Secretarial administrative work experience with Executive/Senior Management
  • Minute taking experience
  • Experience in the use of online platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams
