Administrative Assistant

Job Description: 

  • Excel Proficiency: Demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to capture data efficiently.
  • Generate reports, analyse information, and maintain accurate records.
  • Data Capture: Responsible for accurately capturing and maintaining information in Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ensure data integrity and completeness in all records.
  • Administrative Duties: Assist with general administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, scheduling, and handling office correspondence.
  • Report directly to the Partner within the accounting firm.
  • Client Information Management: Capture and update information for new clients.
  • Maintain client databases and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Communication Skills: Make phone calls to relevant authorities such as SARS (South African Revenue Service), and clients for information gathering and follow-ups.
  • Time Tracking: Capture and manage all hours worked by staff and clients, ensuring accurate records for billing and reporting purposes.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
