Job Description:

  • The position as Administrative Assistant is specific to Support Services in Risk Insurance and Investment Products, as well as Discovery’s Vitality program.
  • Assist with the preparation around Annual Portfolio Reviews of existing clients, as well as the correspondence to clients
  • Assist with electronic marketing campaigns to clients from time to time, as determined
  • Assist with Portfolio Summaries for potential new and existing clients –
  • Assist with the preparation of new client appointments, including requesting comparative quotes from the various insurers as requested as well as any other supportive assistance, as required by the specific appointment – e.g. the pre-completion of application forms etc.
  • Assist with Compliance Requirements as prescribed by FAIS legislation and Financial Services Providers
  • Assist with customer communication around general inquiries – by email or telephonically, as the situation requires
  • Assist with the completion of administrative forms, e.g. claim forms, withdrawal forms and any other service forms relating to Risk or Investment policies
  • Assist with handling Discovery Vitality inquiries, including customer training – by email or home visit, as the situation requires
  • Assist with Vitality customers’ continuous encouragement and monitoring / feedback regarding points activities, as well as personal training in the program’s benefits and assistance where necessary to achieve the clients’ points and status optimally
  • Assist in uploading all customer communications

Qualifications:

  • Computer Literate
  • Bilingual
  • Senior Certificate
