Job Description: 

  • HR Administration
  • Assist in writing and developing job descriptions
  • Assist in writing and developing HR policies
  • Prepare contracts of employment
  • Assist in answering HR related questions from employees
  • Assist with ad hoc HR Projects (example assist to arrange a career fair)
  • Assist in developing and writing HR handbooks and newsletters
  • Administrate disciplinary administration including receiving & capturing of warnings and arranging of hearings.
  • Assist in arranging and planning wellness days for the team
  • Updating of Pingboard monthly
  • Recruitment and Selection administration
  • Assist Head of Human Capital with liaising with hiring managers and central administration to identify budgeted personnel needs
  • Ensure that job specifications are consistently advertised internally and externally
  • Ensure that job advertisements are removed when necessary
  • Screen applications and give feedback to candidates
  • Liaise with external institutions like universities and colleges and built a good relationship with their key stakeholders
  • Setting up recruitment and training events
  • Organize and coordinate recruiting process (create ads, manage on-line postings, schedule interviews
  • Keep the recruitment platform up to date with new applications and communicate with them regularly
  • Assist with the arrangement for vacation workers
  • Assist with coordinating the graduate program
  • Onboarding arrangement and administration
  • Organize and implement the onboarding process for all new hires
  • Assist with all onboarding documentation
  • Assist with all onboarding arrangements prior to the employee starting work
  • Bursary administration and engagement
  • Ensure to pay the bursary students every month and arrange for their accommodation and studies to be paid
  • Encourage and support the bursary students regularly and resolve any issue that may arise
  • Exit interview administration
  • Arrange exit interviews with all employees resigning from the companies
  • Assist with conducting exit interviews
  • Assist with writing exit interview reports and sharing them with management of the various companies in the group


  • B Com / BA degree in Human Resource Management or relevant degree
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a administrator would be advantageous
  • Thorough knowledge of labour laws (BCEA, LRA, SDA, EEA) would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
