Underwriting Administrator (Short Term Insurance)

Job Description:
- Policy administration (receive, check, refer, ad hoc duties, off-platform renewal processes)
- Policy administration/negotiation in relation to commercial and personal lines policies.
- General inquiries and office administration
- Handling of business report (policy screenings, cancellations, new business)
- Management of personnel
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 with at least 5 years of experience in short term insurance (preferably in underwriting)
- Experience in personal and commercial lines.
- RE5
- CPD must be up to date
- Must have full FSCA accreditation
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (both verbal and written)
- The ability to work under pressure
