Agricultural General Manager – Pruning, Weed Control and Yield

Job Description: 

• Develop and manage pruning methodologies as a central strategy for optimal production volumes, yields, export pack outs and revenue.
• Right pruning approach, practices, at the right time, of desired fruit sizes, improved fruit colour, quality and better rind quality.
• Weed management: Prevention, eradication and control methodologies.
• Assessment, data collection followed by corrective action and application of best practices

Qualifications: 

• BSc Degree in Agronomy or relevant qualification would be highly advantageous
• At least 5 years relevant experience with a proven track record. Management and implementation of value adding, effective pruning, weed control and yield strategies, industry best practices, and methodologies.
