Category Manager (Citrus)

Job Description: 

• ⁠Compiling and managing the procurement / marketing plan, budget and strategy
• Diligent driving and pursuing negotiations to ensure optimal Commercial performance to ensure a profitable category
• ⁠Effective communication and management of relationships with producers, suppliers. recipients, team members, colleagues and key stakeholders
• ⁠Precise and punctual management of information and appropriate administration
• Continuously manage the Citrus Fruit Department’s performance to achieve short-, medium- and long-term goals and objectives
• Convert market intelligence, new product development and opportunities towards sustainable growth 

Qualifications: 

• Appropriate tertiary qualification
  
• ⁠Proven experience and commercial footprint in fruit export industry
  
• ⁠Proven track record in managing a highly motivated and productive team effectively
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• ⁠Skilled team player, negotiator and communicator (verbal and written)
  
• ⁠Strong managerial and computer skills.
