Job Description: 

  • Investigating and analyzing production methods and processes to identify improvements to drive efficiency, reduce cost and eliminate waste.
  • Actively seeking out best practices to share and implement at the sites.
  • Develop world class operational excellence practices based on lean manufacturing principles.
  • Analyze production information to identify and prioritize improvement projects.
  • Change management communication during implementation of new initiatives.
  • Implement measurement systems & monitor the usage thereof.


  • Relevant degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant.
  • MS word, excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to compile and write reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Drivers license.
  • Continuous improvement mind-set.
  • Are process focused.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to identify critical trends/patterns like solving problems in a creative way.
  • Enjoy data analysis (gathering information).
  • Self-driven personality with ability to function independently.
  • Willing to travel for extended periods.
  • Effective communication skills (English & Afrikaans).
