Diesel Mechanic

Consultant: Nine Broodryk 

Job Description: 

•  Inspects vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
•  Inspects vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade as necessary
•  Conducts routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.)
•  Schedules future maintenance sessions and advises drivers on vehicle use
•  Repairs or replaces broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provides accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job to Workshop Manager
• Ensures that safety measures are adhered to with regard to the use of tools
•  Ensure that the safety of the working area
• Report injuries and damages to Workshop Manager
• Completes logs on work done

Qualifications: 

• Qualified Artisan (Mechanical)
• Minimum 3 years  experience
