Diesel Mechanic

Job Description: 

• Mechanical testing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, replace, dissemble, assemble, recondition engines and worn parts
• Maintenance – oil, grease, replace filters.
• Record keeping of maintenance and other services or repairs. Monthly reports
• Monthly reporting on diesel, repairs and maintenance etc.

Qualifications:  

• Trade tests Certified – Red Seal
• 6 years overall relevant mechanical experience
• 4 years in depth knowledge, understanding of and experience in transmissions, diagnostics, hydraulic systems, mechanical components, diesel engine systems, services, repairs, overhaul and engine reconditioning – tractors, trucks, bakkies, four wheelers, spray cards, high pressure pumps and motorbikes.
