Electrical Technician

Reference: 9892 MLR
Consultant: Michelle le Roux 

Job Description:  

• Install, maintain & repair electrical and automation systems for greenhouse projects
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve technical issues and ensure optimal system performance
• Commission, calibrate and test new systems
• Maintain accurate documentation for all work performed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, safety standards and company policies
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications: 

• Certificate, diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering (minimum NQF Level 3)
• Three-phase wireman’s license
• Experience with control systems – PLC’s, VFD’s etc.
• More than 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
