Maintenance Planner

Job Description: 

• Daily planning of maintenance
• Ensure loading of details of spares required on work orders
• Expedite the work order closure rate
• Audits and inspections
• Technical support to artisans when needed
• Co-ordinate pre-maintenance meetings with artisans and manager
• Reporting of down time analysis and outstanding purchase orders
• Manage administration of DMS, updating of feedback of services and job cards and loading of orders
• Follow up on open job cards

Qualifications:  

• Matric is essential. A tertiary qualification maintenance planning or related function an advantage.
• 3 years’ experience in high-speed production maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong numeracy and administration skills
• Be accurate and pay attention to detail
• Strong organising and planning skills
• Able to solve problems and implement solutions to deliver positive business outcomes
• Computer skills (MS Office and in house computer systems)
