Quantity Surveyor / Procurement

Descriptions:

• Sourcing, negotiating costs and drafting of estimates from external suppliers and sub-contractors for tender process.
• Determining quantities and placing of orders for materials required as per scope of project and available methods and materials.
• Managing any deviations on orders, delivery dates and timelines from external suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Managing new and existing projects, including, but not limited to:
• General site management;
• Project budget management and reporting on expenditure, material costs and deviations;
• Planning and coordination of material orders and deliveries with site manager/agent.

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering
• 5+ Years’ proven working experience as Quantity Surveyor with solid procurement experience
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
• Solid negotiations and networking skills
• Excellent technical ability
