Senior Engineering Consultant

Job Description: 

• Project Leadership: Oversee engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical analysis and recommendations.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications: 

• BTech or BEng in Civil Engineering
• Qualified as PrEng or PrTech(Eng) with ECSA, alternative qualification to be considered will be Certified Asset Manager Assessor (CAMA)  with SAAMA
• Experience in the design and contract management or construction of municipal infrastructure (buildings, water and sanitation infrastructure, roads or electricity)
• Experience in the field of Asset Management will be beneficial, specifically related to the compilation of Infrastructure Asset Registers, Asset Management Plans and O&M Plans
• Computer literacy and data entry skills
• Spreadsheet experience (good knowledge of excel/ formulae etc.)
• Basic understanding of GIS and database management required
• Basic understanding of Asset Management principals required
• Project and Team Management skills and experience required
• Analytical skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
