  • Documenting comprehensive client user stories and technical constraints/ requirements.
  • Producing detailed component specifications and translate these into detailed diagrams and designs for implementation.
  • Lead technical analysis, implementation and deployment.
  • Supporting the project co-ordination team in managing scope variations and risks effectively throughout the lifecycle of the delivery of circuits.
  • Performs project assurance to validate that solution architecture aligns with the enterprise architecture alongside RF, R&D and NOC departments.
  • Working closely with the Account Managers to enable quicker turnaround times on customer solution requests.
  • Ability to draw network diagrams to support customer solutions.
  • Ability to cost, quote and respond to client proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and client specific solutions etc.
  • Ability to join customer meetings to support the Account Managers and Projects delivery teams in ensuring the customers are presented with updated and/or informed of solution designs outcomes.
  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Creating tailored solutions for each customer to maximize our value proposition to the customer and ensure solutions are feasible, implementable and realistic.
  • Ability to liaise between the customer/prospect and the technical teams and translate business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment with an understanding of business and decision processes in different geographic regions.
  • Developing proof-of-concept to validate solution feasibility.
  • Identifying project issues / risks and present alternatives to alleviate or resolve.
  • Clear technical understanding of Fibre and Wireless networks.


  • At least 3 years’ experience working in a direct customer-facing role in a technical sales role.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other technology related field
  • Experience in putting together commercial proposals.
  • Experience in development of business cases an added advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, etc).
  • Experience in a Telco environment is highly desired.
  • Wireless and Fibre network knowledge and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills highly desired.
  • Strong Project Management skills are required.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent team leadership, people management, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Computer literacy and typing skills.
  • An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Must be flexible and solution orientated.
  • Must be target-driven.
  • Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Must be able to work independently and be a team-player.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in project costing (Cost Estimates, Bill of Materials).
