Welder/Pipe Fitter

Job Description: 

• Assemble, install, and repair piping systems.
• Perform welding using techniques.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipes; test for leaks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Inspect and maintain existing piping systems.
• Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications: 

• General computer skills on Excel, Word and Office.
• Technical drawings on CAD and Autodesk Inventor / Solidworks.
• Good communication and people’s skills.
• Detailed orientated and technically minded.
• Detail designing and compilation of complete manufacturing drawings.
• Technical support to walk-in clients and manufacturing teams.
• Cost estimations of old and new designs.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Work on weekends if required.
• Previous experience in engineering industry will be an advantage.
• Own transport
• Proficiency in Afrikaans and English
