Our client is looking for a positive and talented Chef de Partie to join their group as part of their exceptional culinary team in London, UK
Description:
- Run sections and have good filleting experience
- Understanding of flavors balance, a passion for food and your own development is a must
- Ensure that all dishes are cooked well and presented in an aesthetically pleasing way
- Oversee food preparation, checking that all kitchen staff are performing their duties
- Monitor equipment quality and order new equipment as needed
- Help the restaurant determine how much food and supplies need to be ordered
- Train new kitchen staff
Qualifications:
- One year experience of a high-volume, quality Restaurant kitchen in a similar role
- Passionate about Mediterranean Cuisine and Seasonality
- Excellent knowledge of ingredients, allergens and adherence to all Food Safety and hygiene standards
- Positive and kind attitude in the kitchen
- Good command of English language
- Strong team ethic, always showing respect for your colleagues
