Job Description:
- Customer Service
- Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally.
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menus.
- Ensure prompt and efficient service to all guests.
- Maintain a friendly and engaging demeanor with all customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Beverage Preparation
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, spirits, coffees, and teas.
- Maintain proper stock levels of all bar supplies.
- Ensure all beverages are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Adhere to all liquor licensing laws and regulations.
- Bar Operations
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area at all times.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Control inventory and minimize wastage.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area for events.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations.
- Teamwork
- Work effectively as part of a team with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff.
- Assist with other duties as required, such as clearing tables and assisting with food service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Barman/Bartender in a fast-paced environment (preferably in a hospitality setting).
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality or bartending (advantageous).
