Food & Beverage Manager

Job Description: 

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple restaurant outlets and functions, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Develop and implement training programmes for managers, waiters, and bar staff to elevate service standards.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new staff as required to ensure a high-performing and well-integrated team.
  • Enhance beverage offerings by curating innovative wine, cocktail, and non-alcoholic drink menus in line with the brand’s experience.
  • Motivate, lead, and coach a team of managers and staff who are well-established in their roles, ensuring continuous growth and performance.
  • Uphold and refine service SOPs, ensuring that guest experiences meet the highest hospitality standards.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to align wine pairings with the culinary offering and enhance the overall guest experience.
  • Take responsibility for stock control, ordering, and cost management to maintain operational efficiency.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum five years of experience in an F&B operational management role overseeing multiple outlets.
  • Proven track record in staff training and development, with the ability to coach and uplift teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Extensive wine and beverage knowledge: understanding of wine lists, bar operations, and beverage menu development.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills: must be confident in leading, guiding, and driving a team of long-serving managers and waiters.
  • Hands-on operational approach: must lead from the front, ensuring smooth service across all outlets.
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills: ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ability to implement and maintain SOPs to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • High-energy, can-do attitude, and proactive mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems, stock control, and cost management.
  • Ability to process data and deliver reports using Excel, Micros, and Sage.
  • Willing to work flexible hospitality hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
