Sales Representative

Job Description: 

  • Building and maintaining successful commercial business relationships with customers.
  • Joint formulation of customer strategies with the Industrial Sales Manager.
  • Assist with price maintenance, product ranging and new product listings.
  • Joint development of account plans to deliver on channel KPI’s.
  • Analyse, compile and review performance of accounts as well as competitor dynamics to deliver maximum sales and profit.
  • Drive New Product Development sessions with customers.
  • Implement the agreed pricing policies.
  • Develop the appropriate cross functional contact strategy (includes identifying key contacts & establishing frequency of contact) with assigned customers. 

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification – Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Formal Cheffing Qualification, Business Management
  • Computer literacy – Excel a must
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience within Foodservice, Food Production or Production Kitchen environment
  • Experience in Dairy, New Product Development will be an advantage.
