Job Description: 

  • Guest Service Excellence
    • Oversee all aspects of guest service, ensuring a warm welcome, efficient service, and memorable dining experiences.
    • Proactively identify and address guest concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
    • Build strong relationships with members and guests, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
    • Implement and maintain high standards of service and hospitality.
  • Team Leadership
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team, including servers, hosts/hostesses.
    • Conduct regular team meetings, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve service excellence and exceed guest expectations.
    • Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, including table management, order taking, food and beverage service, and cashiering.
    • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the restaurant and dining areas.
    • Implement and monitor service standards and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
    • Manage restaurant inventory and supplies effectively.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
    • Represent the restaurant at club events and functions as needed.

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (preferably within the hospitality or golf industry).
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in POS systems and other relevant restaurant management software.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and best practices.
  • Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
