Job Description:
- Guest Service Excellence
- Oversee all aspects of guest service, ensuring a warm welcome, efficient service, and memorable dining experiences.
- Proactively identify and address guest concerns, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships with members and guests, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Implement and maintain high standards of service and hospitality.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing front-of-house team, including servers, hosts/hostesses.
- Conduct regular team meetings, and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve service excellence and exceed guest expectations.
- Create a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters teamwork and employee engagement.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations, including table management, order taking, food and beverage service, and cashiering.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the restaurant and dining areas.
- Implement and monitor service standards and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Manage restaurant inventory and supplies effectively.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Represent the restaurant at club events and functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (preferably within the hospitality or golf industry).
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in POS systems and other relevant restaurant management software.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards and best practices.
- Passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
