Tasting Room Manager

Job Description: 

  • Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the tasting room
  • Provide expert wine knowledge and guidance to guests, including food and wine pairing recommendations
  • Train and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service standards
  • Maintain a guest-centric approach, ensuring every visitor has a memorable experience
  • Drive profitability through effective cost management and revenue generation initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, with a strong background in hospitality
  • Excellent wine knowledge and understanding of food and wine pairing
  • Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous
  • Proven track record in staff management and performance optimization
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Impeccable attention to detail, multitasking, and budget management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle required
