Job Description:
- Recruitment
- Ensure that all vacancies are advertised both internally and externally.
- Assist with sourcing, screening and shortlisting suitable candidates and scheduling interviews as needed.
- Conduct employee verification checks that includes Criminal checks, Credit checks,
- Qualification Verifications, ID verifications and Reference checks.
- On Boarding
- Ensure complete Pre-Onboarding process takes places at least 1 week before new employee starts
- Ensure induction is arranged timeously for new employees.
- Assist line managers to schedule Initial, 3 Month and 6 Month Probation Reviews for all new hires
- Ensure that all new hire documentation is checked and timeously submitted to the payroll department.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Ensure that all new hire documentation is submitted the payroll department for processing.
- Conduct periodic leave audits.
- Maintaining electronic employee records
- Performance Management
- Assist in consolidating performance scores during the performance review process.
- Employment Equity
- Ensure Employment Equity meetings are set up and the necessary committee members are made aware of dates.
- Assist with the consolidation of information for EE reporting.
- Terminations
- Ensure relevant parties are timeously informed of terminations and that proper exit procedures are followed.
- Administration and Reporting
- Daily administration and ad hoc reporting as required.
- Facilitate the successful submission of IOD’s
- Communication
- Ensure all human resources policies and procedures are efficiently and effectively communicated within the business.
- Create awareness of strategic key human resource campaigns.
- Ensure that the correct lines of communication are followed at all times, and that timeous feedback is provided to all relevant parties when requested.
- Training
- Identify suitable training providers that can facilitate required training.
- Recording of all skills and training initiatives for ATR/WSP reporting.
- Ad hoc
Qualifications:
- Relevant Degree or Diploma (Advantageous)
- 1 years’ experience in a similar HR Role (Desirable)
- Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to apply strict confidentiality
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving skills
- Results Driven
- Strong Computer Skills, with a proficient knowledge of MS Office, Google Workspace and the ability to learn and utilise company personnel systems.
- Previous experience on SAGE 300 People and ESS will be advantageous.
