Client Engagement Officer

Job Description: 

  • Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
  • Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
  • Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organisation
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Channel Engagement Framework
  •  Ensure that channels follow the sales engagement model
  • Support Finance and Commercial business unit to improve margins (pricing strategies)
  • Ensure contracting and SLAs development with all channels
  • Facilitate approvals and comply with internal controls
  • Ensure productisation of all products aligned with contractual obligations
  • Adhere to the Information Security Management System policies and procedures as per ISO 27001

Qualifications: 

  • A degree in IT or any other relevant degree
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales
  • Account management experience
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Willingness and ability to travel with own transport
