Client Engagement Officer

Job Description:
- Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs
- Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business
- Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organisation
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Channel Engagement Framework
- Ensure that channels follow the sales engagement model
- Support Finance and Commercial business unit to improve margins (pricing strategies)
- Ensure contracting and SLAs development with all channels
- Facilitate approvals and comply with internal controls
- Ensure productisation of all products aligned with contractual obligations
- Adhere to the Information Security Management System policies and procedures as per ISO 27001
Qualifications:
- A degree in IT or any other relevant degree
- 3+ years of experience in Sales
- Account management experience
- Experience with CRM software
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, including executive and C-level
- Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Willingness and ability to travel with own transport
