MI Reporting Specialist

Description:

• Complete all MI and reporting
• To review and improve the existing MI and reporting for the Sales, Claims and Customer Service departments
• Undertake trend analysis and present MI to Heads of departments and management team
• To make strategic process improvement proposals based on the trend analysis undertaken
• Produce weekly, daily and monthly management information reports
• Actively improve existing reports and make recommendations for change
• Collate and produce the Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly MI packs
• Statistically analyse reports to identify trends
• Provide management reporting on activity to other areas of the business as required
• Undertake ad hoc MI duties and projects as and when required
• Monitor quality and consistency of data held on internal systems through completion of the stock reconciliation process when required
• Take responsibility for the monitoring and completion of the risk mapping 1st level controls for the department

Qualifications:

• Good systems aptitude and previous project management an advantage
• A good working knowledge of databases, ideally including SAS
• Computer literacy – intermediate as a minimum in Excel and Word
• Experience working with SQL to develop MI reports would be beneficial
• At least five years of insurance, claims and operations management experience
• Finance qualification (diploma/degree) and/or Insurance qualification (diploma/degree)
• Previous experience of working within a MI analyst / specialist role required
