Payment Specialist

Job Description:

  • Perform market research to gain insights from across the industry
  • Perform customer insight research to gain insight into the customer and their appetite for making use of other payment methods/ solutions
  • Share subject-matter expertise in Payments domain through giving advice and participating in projects
  • Record and develop Business Canvass maps for product opportunities
  • Identify and implement relevant and new payment solutions in support of the overall business strategy
  • Work with the product and marketing team to prioritise and launch products to our customers
  • Build and maintain an in depth understanding of our payments platform and how international payments are processed
  • Build and maintain relationships with all third party vendors. Ensure service is provided to a high standard and make recommendations to improve and streamline processes and interactions
  • Design and develop tailor-made payment solutions in relation to customer requirements and needs
  • Achieve payment channel utilization targets


  • Degree in computer science, software engineering or business management
  • Post-graduate degree in business management advantageous
  • A good understanding of FinTech and various payment solutions/ technologies and working with start-up operations
  • The following technical experience: SASS / SQL / Javascript
  • Experience in project or product management, taking projects from conception to launch
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of tracking tools and methods
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
