Job Description:

  • Project life cycle:
    • Understand the client and target audience
    • Formulate new ideas and concepts
    • Develop interactive design
    • Ask critical questions and redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints
    • Identify opportunities when conventional thinking has failed by finding fresh perspectives and implement innovative solutions
    • Assist in developing design briefs that suit the client’s purpose
    • Demonstrate illustrative skills through rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print
    • Design both print and digital media such as advertisements, annual reports, book covers, brochures, logos, signage, stickers, t-shirts, web pages, etc.
    • Edit and colour-grade video and photo content
    • Working with a range of media, including computer-aided design (CAD), and keeping up to date with emerging technologies
  • Research:
    • Analyse the client’s competitors and know what’s trending in their industries
    • Do research on industry-related trends _ letter
  • Team work:
    • Manage, train, upskill and teach junior designers
    • Collaborate with account manager and clients to discuss their business objectives and requirements of the task
    • Accurately estimate the time required to complete a task and communicate this to account managers to prepare quotes
    • Collaborate with a team of copywriters, stylists, designers, account managers, web developers and marketing specialists

Qualifications:

  • Graphic Design qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Graphic Design portfolio to present to client
  • Adaptable/ Flexible Communication Skills Disciplined Office Ethics Passionate Positive Attitude
  • Reliable Research Skills/ Learning Team Player Willing to Learn Workflowmax
  • Accountability Creative Cool, Calm, Collected Decision-making skills
