We are offering a SHEQ Intern the opportunity to embark on an exciting 18-month development program, gaining practical exposure in the field of Risk/SHEQ. The program will help to develop both your individual attributes and career aspirations through exposure to various business concepts, objectives, and outcomes.
Description:
- Assist with the implementation of the company’s SHEQ Management System
- SHEQ Administration
- Coordinate the rollout of SHEQ Training Program
- Administration of WCA System
- Coordinate Company Medicals
- Ensure adherence to legal and compliance requirements with local authorities
- Conduct branch audits
- Monitor contractor SHEQ compliance
- Assist with Department Financial Analysis and Planning
- Maintain internal & external stakeholder relations
Qualifications:
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Obtained Relevant Degree/National Diploma in Risk/SHEQ
- 1 – 2 years related work experience would assist in the application
- Must have own transport
- Willingness to job rotate and be away from the appointed place of work
- Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal and written skills
