Operations & Maintenance Manager

Job Description: 

  • Track and monitor all sites daily x2-3 times a day (130 in total)
  • Update the technicians should any problem arise
  • Log all cases on platforms. Internally as well as externally
  • Update client about problems found and any necessary information they need to know about.
  • Schedule service runs
  • Ensure technicians are on site when they should be as well as ensuring they provide updated material to me (Job cards, problems found on site. Log books for vehicles and overtime sheets)
  • Email new clients with welcome emails and update them on scheduled dates for service runs
  • File signed SLA agreements in correct places on the team’s platform (service level agreement)
  • Provide daily updates to the technical team
  • Ensure that any new clients have their sites transferred across to our Solar edge monitoring platforms
  • Invoice clients with repairs that have taken place or work that has been quoted on
  • Follow up on quotes sent to clients
  • Create requestions for any stock required on sites (optimizers, meters, CT’s etc)
  • Follow up on payments for work carried out on sites
  • Schedule the team for house installations.
  • Ensure there is confirmed dates for installations and tentative dates and the clients are notified.
  • Ensure all stock for the installations is in warehouse and allocated accordingly
  • Manage the teams sick leave, overtime and amount of time spent on sites and leave days.
  • Ensure the standard operating procedure is being followed, make sure vehicles are being left in a tidy manner, occasionally check the tracker on vehicles.
  • Open cases on solar edge service centre and keep in touch with the support centre when any issues arise on sites.
