Production Manager

Job Description: 

  • Leading and optimising our nut production and water filling processes, ensuring efficient and consistent output.
  • Recording efficiency data for both facilities.
  • Maintaining strict quality control measures to ensure our water and nut products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of production staff whilst fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Engaging with relevant stakeholders, suppliers, and customers on new product development (NPD), ensuring fulfilment of customer requirements.
  • Overseeing inventory levels, coordinating ordering, and managing supply chains to maintain production efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluating and improving production processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and quality enhancements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety and regulatory standards.


  • Bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record with 2-3 years relevant experience in a nut packing, nut roasting, nut milk and/or water bottling production facility.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for process improvement.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to work overtime and on weekends when operationally required.
