Job Description: 

  • Receive incoming goods, verify against invoices or orders, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Store goods in designated locations, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed to prevent damage or deterioration.
  • Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and reordering supplies as needed.
  • Monitor stock movement and update inventory records using computerised systems or manual logs.
  • Assist with inventory audits and investigate discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store area, including shelving, bins, and storage racks.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and production, to fulfil orders and support operational requirements.


  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
