Executive Head of Sales

Job Description: 

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, setting strategic objectives and guiding their execution.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and guidance to team members.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives, to generate leads, close deals, build strategic partnerships and expand our client base.
  • Attain company sales targets, cultivate new business channels, and nurture the growth of existing accounts.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication within the sales team to optimize performance.
  • Provide strategic direction for managing key client accounts and support team members in their account management efforts.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate the training and development of sales team members.
  • Stay up to date with our product offerings and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Analyse market trends and sales data to make informed sales forecasts and keep the pipeline up to date.
  • Manage the sales department’s budget effectively.
  • Gather market feedback through sales team interactions and disseminate this information for strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

Qualifications: 

  • Must hold a relevant degree or diploma.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Fluent in English, with the ability to clearly explain complex concepts and present information effectively.
  • Possess extensive sales experience and the ability to provide leadership in a sales context.
  • Understand market dynamics and trends within the IT industry.
