Export Sales Representative

Job Description: 

  • Building and maintaining successful commercial business relationships with customers, to ensure profitability.
  • Manage key agents, so that there is alignment between the Business Objectives and Customer Strategy.
  • Manage and drive new business development.
  • Assist with Market Research and Compliance: monitor market and dairy legislation.
  • Export selling: setting up promotional grids and assisting agents with orders for upcoming promotions; administrative assistance on various trade agreements and pricing per retailer/agent/country; etc.
  • Merchandising and Marketing: assist trade merchandising marketers on product information in various countries; compiling sales and price data in various countries; etc.
  • Ensuring promotional activity is implemented as per the promotion grid, changes to be communicated on a weekly basis.
  • Manage price comparisons and pricing per retailer.
  • Manage and track returns based on set targets.
  • Manage relationships and contacts in different contexts and cultures.


  • Relevant export or related degree
  • 2-5 years’ relevant export experience within an FMCG environment
  • 2 years’ relevant sales and customers services experience within an FMCG environment
  • Computer Skills (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license with own transportation
  • Must be willing and able (clear criminal record) to travel as required
