Job Description: 

• Responsible for management of the website, including some coding
• Assist the curatorial team in creating brochures, flyers and catalogues
• Assist the Marketing & Event Coordinator with advertising and promotional placements
• Work closely with and provide technical support to the Marketing and Events Coordinator
• Curate aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly graphics for the museum’s website and digital brochures
• Manage and develop responsive templates for desktops, laptops, mobile devices and tablets.
• Design and implement website layouts, logos and branding in alignment with the Museum’s CI, brand values and target audiences
• Suggest and execute a cohesive visual brand strategy for the website and social media platforms
• Stay updated with the latest industry updates and trends in website design and social media

Qualifications:  

• Grade 12 Matric certificate
• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, web design or a related field
