Sales Representative (Capital Equipment)

Job Description: 

  • Serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Ability to meet sales targets.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports,
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge
  • Participate in client conferences, trade shows (SA and Europe)


  • Minimum of 2 years Technical Sales Experience.
  • A technical background such as qualification, would be advantageous.
  • Valid Driver’s license and Own reliable vehicle
  • Clean criminal record (requirement to be able to travel overseas)
  • Note: Travelling is required for this position in SA and overseas
  • Bilingual, especially in English
  • Able to ‘think outside the box’
