Receptionist

Job Description: 

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it remains neat and presentable.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
  • Assist with filing and maintaining records (including creditors and other departmental support).
  • Provide general office administration support such as photocopying, scanning, and data entry.
  • Schedule appointments and assist with meeting room bookings.
  • Support colleagues in different departments with routine tasks when needed.
  • Order and manage office supplies for reception and shared spaces.

Qualifications: 

  • Matric (Grade 12); office administration qualification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in an administrative role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional appearance and customer-focused approach
