Continuous Improvement Engineer

Job Description: 

• Execution of ongoing improvement projects aimed at cost savings and profitability
• Conduct time studies and process analyses
• Perform cost-benefit analyses to justify investment in new technology and equipment/implements
• Improve systems to promote data integrity
• Lead process optimisation in various departments
• Analyse production data to gain insights and support decision-making
• Collaborate with the agricultural finance team to reconcile ground-level data with financial figures and propose and implement improvements
• Lead general process improvement projects for agricultural businesses and other departments

Qualifications: 

• BEng Industrial Engineering degree
• 1–3 years of work experience
• Proficient in Afrikaans and English
• Skilled in process analysis and improvement
• Skilled in project management
• Experience in data analysis (Power BI) will be beneficial
• Enthusiastic about the practical applications of AI
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Agricultural background or interest will be beneficial
• Proactive and innovative
