Job Description:

• Design of civil services for municipal, commercial and industrial developments, including preparation of relevant documentation, and contract administration/monitoring.
• Produce technical deliverables for the design and implementation of roads, stormwater services, sewer services, water services, ducting services and bulk earthworks.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and technical project specifications in line with the relevant SANS codes.
• Conducting site inspections and leading site meetings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and close-out reports.
• Develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to problems/challenges.
• Interaction with Clients.

Qualifications:

• B. Eng or B. Tech in Civil Engineering (Non-negotiable)
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Engineer / Technologist or eligible to register within the next 12 months.
• Minimum 5-10 years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design and Building Environment experience a pre-requisite
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Competent with Civil Designer and AutoCAD
